Underwater at The End - Septemeber 30th

September 14, 2006

The September 30th Underwater party sees Darren Emerson joined by old Underwater favourite Paul Jackson for the first time ? in ages actually - he is also joined by the mixers behind the first in the Underwater ?Solo? compilation series: ?Deepgroove? will be launching the compilation itself on the night (not literally ? although they might chuck a few out) ? the ?Solo? compilation sees a two CD mix of current underground rave favourites ? John Dahlbeck, Oxia, Locodice, Electrochemie and many more ? already set to be album of the issue in DJ Mag.

In the Lounge we bring in the legend that is Arthur Baker ? why is he a legend? He?s worked with everyone from New Order to Cyndi Lauper to Bob Dylan to Fleetwood Mac to Quincy Jones to Debbie Harry to Joy Division to Grandmaster Flash to David Bowie - and he released a track on Underwater earlier this year entitled ?Glow? which is very nice - that?s why. Serge Santiago also makes his Underwater debut ? behind the best ?re-edits? around ? from Daft Punk to Grace Jones and behind tracks including ?Atto D?Amore? and ?Anticipation? (under his Candidate moniker - along with Chris Bones) he?s also formerly one half of Radio Slave and is fresh from his We Love gigs at Space, Ibiza this summer (where he was booked to play once and they liked him so much they asked for him to come back) for Underwater?s Lounge, expect a bit of an alternative Italo disco come anything goes set. Also in Lounge play is Arveene; fun abounding.
