The Gallery crank up the bass on Friday 3rd November to welcome to Turnmills some of the globe?s leading purveyor?s of trance ? at its glorious driving best ? featuring Above & Beyond, Christopher Lawrence, John Fleming and Mike Koglin. There?s also an exclusive album launch party to be had in T2 ? where Curfew Time monthly residents King Unique will be showcasing the sounds of their new ?Electric 02? compilation, with Prehab hosting T3.

But back to the main room and Above & Beyond ? the UK?s answer to the Dutch big guns like Armin, Ferry and Tiesto. Their genre-defining productions (mostly released their own Anjunabeats label) have become an essential tool for the world’s leading DJs and in the process have set the benchmark for the new generation of dance music producers. In 2004, Above & Beyond scooped Radio 1?s ?Essential Mix of the Year? and since then the threesome have enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top of the global dance music scene, culminating in six nominations at last year’s International Dance Music Awards in Miami. Earlier this year Above & Beyond released their debut artist album, ?Tri-State?, to critical acclaim and this week they return to The Gallery to headline this week?s roadblock. Joining them on the bill is American trance god Christopher Lawrence. Voted No.14 in DJ Magazine?s prestigious ?Top 100? poll for 2005, Christopher is recognized worldwide as one of the World’s top DJs and producers. Last year he won the ?Best DJ? award at the Dancestar US Awards and his rare set in London this week will be one to savour. Completing this major league line-up is UK veteran and JOOF Records head honcho John 00 Fleming - who remains one of the most consistent DJs of his genre. Plus there?s more late night revelry from Noys Music dude Mike Koglin, alongside The Gallery?s very own superstar Gavyn Mytchel who?ll be firing up the sound system good and proper late on!

Over in T2, Gallery residents King Unique present their monthly dose of underground wrongdoings ? Curfew Time, where they celebrate the launch of their hot new compilation ?Electric 02? with another dirty slice of rocking electro-tech. KU?s special guest this month is Col Hamilton - the main man from Lush! In Northern Ireland, with support from man about town Leon Roberts. Finally in T3 we welcome new bi-monthly residents Prehab, who bring with them a cracking line-up featuring two up-and-coming DJs who are very much establishing themselves in their relative genres right now. Finally in T3 we welcome back new bi-monthly residents Prehab after a successful launch in September, who return with another cracking line-up featuring two big up-and-coming special guests. First up is Jon Gurd from the Club Class / Futurism stable and the man behind one of the summers phattest tunes ?The Rendition? (together with Dave Robertson on CR2 Records), as well as numerous other cuts like his remix of Mickey Slim?s ?Acid is the Bomb?. Prehab?s second special guest is Tekelecs main man and Mixmag Future Hero Ali Wilson. This guy seems to have a new tune out every week and Carl Cox no less recently signed 5 of Ali?s tunes to a new compilation! Look out for his funky techno sound to finish off the night with a bang. Chris Rayner, Rob Collins and Rob Read also play, backed up by Prehab?s resident Dave Irvine.
