It?s Carnival season and to follow up July?s roadblock event featuring the legendary Ca$h Money we had to dream up something just a little bit special for the next audio assault at Turnmills on Saturday 26th August.

To celebrate, we’ve pulled out all the stops to deliver some exclusive LIVE shows to compliment the already devastating, inter-stella back-to-back Drum n? Bass, DJ and MC line up. You just know that it doesn?t get any better than this?

In the Live Room we are proud to host the vocal genius Jenna G with a full live band. Playing forthcoming material as well cuts from her massive debut album – Music for Lost Friends… expect queues as along as your arm for her alone!! We welcome the legendary beats fanatic – Paradox. Fans of Paradox should not miss this, as due to his hectic international schedule this will be his only London show this year. Expect the ruffest drums, the dreamiest strings and some serious, serious subs. Making his London debut we introduce one of our favourite producers, the nu-skool dub prodigy – Amit – playing cuts from his Neverending LP album as well as forthcoming material. Expect some jaw dropping rhythms, bass lines and ethnic percussion bringing the Carnival vibe. Finally in the live room, dropping by on their Northern Soul album tour, Geordie Junglists Craggz and Parallel Forces perform an exclusive live show for Primal – with Stamina MC and Deeizm on vocal duties. As ever, we?ve assembled a blinding selection of A-List DJs, representing every angle in Drum and Bass performing exclusively back to back for you… you just know this is gonna be off the chain! Needing no introduction we welcome back the original back-to-back duo, Radio 1?s Grooverider & Fabio. Primal is the only place where they are playing b2b over the carnival weekend. Expect 2 hours of exclusive dubplates, ripping everything from the rugged to the sublime elements of drum and bass. We’re proud to welcome back the producer & DJ supremo Zinc taking us on a journey with the firing DJ Friction! Expect a set of the highest quality from one of the finest b2b duos in drum and bass. Taking no prisoners, the 1st Lady of Drum and Bass and Metalheadz stalwart, DJ Storm goes back to back with the deadly DJ Digital. Those of a nervous disposition should maybe stay in another room for this set… danger! A carnival party wouldn?t be the same without two of our favourite producers, Valve soldiers Dillinja & Lemon D rolling out the bass and drums. Representing the mighty Hospital Records sound – High Contrast & London Elektricity will be performing a rare back to back show accompanied by the talented MC Wrec… bring the vibes!! We also welcome back the original shadow boxer Doc Scott alongside one of our favourite producers DJ Lee… prepare yourself for a 90 minute demonstration of why these two are recognised as two of the best DJs in the underground drum and bass scene. Last but definitely not least, be prepared for a show stopping performance by Marcus Intalex b2b with Klute – rolling out an exclusive carnival back-to-back show… expect two hours of the ruffest rhythms and the slickest mixing. Unmissable.

Warming up we have a selection of London?s ruffest selectors headed up by Stealth resident Lady Flava (Rude FM), alongside Mantra, Guvna (Origin FM), Dymond, Psylence, Rips (Drum & Bass Worldwide) and Jubei (Emcee Recordings). As always we have a selection of the finest hosts to compliment the beats with GQ, Fats (Tru Playaz), SP:MC (Renegade Hardware), Rage (Tru Playaz), DRS (Soul:r), Fozz (Metalheadz), MC Wrec (Hospital) and Double 0 (Emotif) on mic duties. Meanwhile, up in the loft we serve up the finest Hip Hop room with Stealth residents MK (Kiss 100/ Roots Manuva), Harry Love (Kung Fu), Dixie, Twyman and Nick Nice rolling out the phattest cuts.
