Its battle of the label bosses, where London meets New York, as The Key plays host to two true key players on the scene. Output Records head honcho Trevor Jackson steps into the fold for main room duties plus Rong Music?s DJ Spun, aka Jason Drummond, flies in to set down the more soulful grooves in the back room of our next instalment of Skookum.

A true musical entrepreneur, from designing influential record sleeves in the 80’s, to remixing artists such as Massive Attack, Run DMC and UNKLE in the 90’s, Trevor Jackson has remained at the forefront of the dance music scene, most recently his re-work of KC Flights ?Front the Back? is a current club fave that has been picked up by Defected Records for wider release. As label boss of Output Records he is responsible for signing seminal and visionary artists such as LCD Soundsystem, Four Tet & Black Strobe.

Support in the main room comes from Scottish underground house soldiers Deportivo Street Team showcasing their ?electronic-sleaze-funk? tracks through a LIVE set.

On the eve of an anticipated new compilation release on Rong Music, Spun will be leading the way in the back room. Expect a selection of tracks from his prolific and much hyped label amongst an eclectic set of house grooves with a big hint of soul. On warm up duties we welcome Woody from Birmingham?s forward thinking Jigsaw Music.

Residents Sean Brosnan and Dom Chung complete what could be one of the finest Skookums to date.
