Scissor Sisters To Play Free At Trafalgar Square

Scissor Sisters are to play a free concert in London’s Trafalgar Square as a one-off special on September 16th and will promote Global Fund which provides funding for programmes to fight Aids ? and will coincide with the release of their second album.
Scissor Sisters Singer Babydaddy said: ‘London is our spiritual home, and the UK gave us our first and longest-lasting embrace. To be able to play this event in conjunction with the campaign and to launch our new album, seemed the perfect match, as every step towards success for us means a chance to give back to the global family.’
Supported by the mayor of London, tickets for the concert can be obtained through a prize draw launched today.
You can apply for tickets by texting the word ‘motored’ to 80855 and the line will be open for the next ten days. The cost of each text is ?1.50 and all profits will go direct to the Global Fund.
Winners, who will be picked at random, will be notified the week commencing August 28th.
