Roots Manuva ready for James Blunt
28/08/2008James Blunt could soon be collaborating with Roots Manuva!
South London MC Roots, real-name Rodney Smith, is keen to get working with the You’re Beautiful hitmaker.
Roots told BBC 6Music: “I’m a personal friend of his [Blunt's] guitarist and he put the message in, and he’s up for it.”
He added: “It could be pretty soon, I’ve got some time off coming up soon, so I’m gonna pursue it, I’m definitely gonna try and get something in the bag.”
Slime And Reason, Roots Manuva’s fourth proper studio album, is out 1 September.
