Planet Love magic to be broadcast to the UK and world

BBC Radio 1 return to Northern Ireland this summer for a exclusive series of broadcasts direct from major music festival Planet Love WKD, which takes place at Shane?s Castle, in Antrim, on Saturday 9th September.
The first broadcast of the event comes from dance music don Judge Jules who will introduce Planet Love out live across the UK at 7.30pm from the main Love Arena - hosted in association with Radio 1. He will broadcast until 8.30pm when top international DJ Mauro Picotto will take over. Half an hour of Mauro?s hour-long DJ set will go out live as part of Judge Jules? universally popular radio show.
Then at 11pm DJ Fergie -? will also broadcast his show from the Love arena at Planet Love. It?s a particular honour for Fergie to take part in Planet Love this year as he hails from Larne in County Antrim!
Fergie said: ?To come back home and play a great festival with Radio 1 is phenomenal.?
Pete Tong?s Essential Mix, which will go out on air from 1am until 3am in the early hours of September 10th, will feature a set from American DJ and recent Dancestar World ?Best DJ? DJ Christopher Lawrence, recorded earlier that night in the Love arena.
The second hour of the Essential Mix will be a pre-recording of the phenomenal closing set from Planet Love WKD festival headliner and World Number 1 DJ ? Paul Van Dyk.

The full line up for the Love Arena is: Paul Van Dyk, Chicane (live), Judge Jules, Fergie, Lisa Lashes, Christopher Lawrence, Dave Pearce, Sander Van Doorn, Mog and featuring very special guest Mauro Picotto.
The event runs from 2pm until 2am at Shane?s Castle Estate, Randalstown Road, Antrim, County Antrim. Tickets are priced at ?39.95 incl. booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide as well as independent ticket outlets also.
