Paul van Dyk Album Launch SW4 Afterparty and SW4 Cardiff

To celebrate the launch of South West Four headline star Paul van Dyk’s fifth artist album ‘In Between’ we’re excited to bring you the news that the Worlds’ No.1 DJ has chosen to make South West Four Cardiff and the Official South West Four London Afterparty the official UK album launch parties for his new album making this summers South West Four an un-miss able experience for any PvD fan!

On Saturday 25th August following the massive day on Clapham Common Paul will headline the Official South West Four Afterparty held in conjunction with leading online trance community www.trance.nu at the world-famous Brixton Academy (10pm – 6am) which, following a gorgeous days dancing on the common will be the perfect way to continue the bank holiday celebrations! Then on Sunday 26th to mark the release of one of 2007’s landmark albums South West Four Cardiff on Coopers Field will officially play host part two of the Paul van Dyk album launch celebrations!

‘In Between’ is testament to the strength of van Dyk’s writing and production, moving from dance into rock and classical arrangements with ease. He’s created a range of songs and styles that combine to form his strongest body of work yet. Collaborators on this musical tour-de-force include David Byrne (Talking Heads), Jessica Sutta from Pussycat Dolls (on current single ‘White Lies’), Ashley Tomberlin (Luminary), Alex M.O.R.P.H, Lo Fi Sugar, Rea Garvey (Reamonn), Ryan Merchant and Wayne Jackson.

In addition to the already massive news that the South West Four London Official Afterparty will play host to Paul van Dyks’ official UK album launch party we’re proud to announce the rest of the line up…

Joining Paul in the Main Room will be one of the UK’s leading figures in clubland – Radio 1’s Judge Jules who will be ably aided and abetted by Rotterdams Ronald Van Geldren , a leading purveyor of the Dutch trance sound who will be bringing his unique tech – rock – trance sound to the Academy. in the Foyer for those that like to keep grooving to move housier beats we’re proud to announce the excellent S.O.S Collective will be leading the charge following on from their main stage debut earlier in the day the DJ super group that is Demi, Desyn Masillo and Omib16B deliver a second killer set of the day featuring 6 CDJ’s, 3 Mixers, 3 Laptops & 3 EFX units to ensure your party rocks well into the early hours, with plenty more names and local clubbing brands to be added. When the sun officially sets on Clapham Common for this years South West Four there is only one real destination to keep pushing the party on!

**SOUTH WEST FOUR 2007**

South West Four returns over the glorious Bank holiday Weekender to Clapham Common in London on Saturday 25th and Coopers Field in Cardiff on Sunday 26th as part of the 2007 Metro Weekender.

With both events headed up by the World’s No.1 DJ Paul van Dyk who takes over the mantle from Carl Cox as this years exclusive headline act for both Cities. Paul will be joined on the main stage by fellow DJ icons Sasha, Roger Sanchez and Pete Tong. Also making the journey down the M4 for both events will be Eric Prydz, The Plump DJs, Marco V, Tall Paul and Sander Van Doorn. You will not want to miss this event!

In addition to those already mentioned London sees UK NO.1 act The Shapeshifters join the Main Stage alongside The SOS Collective whilst John Digweed hosts his own Bedrock ‘International Arena’ featuring Hernan Catteneo, Josh Wink, Eric Prydz, Sander Kleinenberg and Jimmy Van M whilst in the Harderfaster.net Arena London clubland giants The Gallery and HeatUK join forces to bring Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules to Clapham Common. The Fourth & Final Arena sees The Ibizan Underground return featuring Steve Lawler, Smokin Jo, Tall Paul, Paul Woolford, Martijn Ten Veldon, Pete Gooding and Aaron Baskerville!

On Sunday Coopers field sees the debut of our Drum N Bass Arena hosted by local heroes Bass Invaders featuring the biggest DnB line up to hit Wales ever – step forward LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Andy C, Fabio & Grooverider, DJ Marky, High Contrast, Haze and MOD. Eddie Halliwells blazing ‘Fire It Up’ party join forces with Time Flies to host the Second Arena featuring Lisa Lashes, Tall Paul, Marco V, Sander Van Doorn, Tylor Leigh and local heroes Dave Eaves and the Bionic Allstars featuring Cally & Juice and Brian M Vs McBunn plus the Cool House Soundsystem feat. Dave Mills & Matt Joy play on the main stage.
