Pacha New York - One Year Aniniversary

Manhattan hotspot Pacha, recently named ?Sizzling Club Of The Moment? worldwide by Forbes and ?Hottest Megaclub in America? by Maxim Magazine, will mark their one-year anniversary on Saturday, December 16, 2006 with a blow out celebration. The Soprano?s Jamie Lynn Sigler and Robert Iler will host the event along with FHM Magazine and co-owners Erick Morillo and Eddie Dean.

Throughout the past year, Pacha New York has hosted some amazing parties with some of the biggest DJ?s in the world with highlights including Jeff Mills and James Zabiela both bringing their technical wizardry to the club, Erick Morillo?s birthday party in April with an impromptu performance by P.Diddy in the DJ Booth, Junior Vasquez? legendary birthday celebration and in September, Danny Tenaglia & Carl Cox playing together in NYC for the first time since the legendary night at Twilo in 2001.

Co-owner and resident DJ Erick Morillo is one of the most in demand and instantly recognizable DJ?s in the world. He has been drawing unprecedented crowds at Pacha?s flagship club in Ibiza for 13 years and his Subliminal Sessions nights have gone from strength to strength, with a whole host of superstars wanting a piece of the action including P. Diddy, Tommy Lee, Tara Reid and Naomi Campbell. ?2006 has been a fantastic first year for Pacha NYC,? says Erick. ?I thought it would take over a year for Pacha to establish itself as the # 1 club in New York, but in just one year I believe that Pacha now dominates the New York club scene. The venue designed by Lionel Ohayon from ICrave Design Studios, fully captures the Balearic feeling and Mediterranean charm of the original flagship, adapted to the New York City dynamics of urban swank.

Pacha New York is the newest member of the international nightlife consortium and the first North American branch of the club. Pacha, the international brand was founded by Ricardo Urgell in 1967 with a single club in Sitges, Spain and the family-run business has since evolved into a global lifestyle brand that encompasses more than 21 nightclubs, a hotel, restaurants, a record label, radio station, lifestyle magazine and a full-scale merchandising division.
