Nohno ‘Mostrous’ released on M-Tronic Records “Table of Elements Vol. 2” Compilation

February 20, 2007

Popular Paris based Electronic and IDM label M-Tronic Records have released the second edition to their series “Table of Elements”. Split in two, the album features unreleased tracks by their in-house artists, such as Mnemonic and label-head Module R. The second disc contains songs by friends of the family. This compilation is M-Tronic’s gift to you and is a free download from their website.

Nohno (Out to Lunch Recordings) has one of their latest creations featured on “Table of Elements Vol. 2″, called ‘Monstrous’. An exploration of the deeper groove, ‘Monstrous’ stakes its ground on the ambient end of IDM and has listeners hooked from the opening vocal “We shall be monstrous”, deepening into the groove with continued words from Mary Shelley.

‘Monstrous’ is for all who have felt the cold sting of being an outsider.

Nohno is the latest incarnation of Dean Dennis, known for his work with Clock DVA, The Anti Group Collective and Sector. For this new adventure Dean is joined by fellow conspirator Jose M. In 2006, Dean and Jose released “Metropolis”, an LP delving into the human experience within an urban setting, rattling the relationship between man and machine.

With ‘Monstrous’, the Nohno duo continue their search for the infusion of soul within circuitry.
