My Digital Enemy - Time To Freak
November 15, 2007
Hot off the heals from turning out the dirty remix of Groove Armada’s ‘Song 4 Mutya’, My Digital Enemy are back with their trash-electro assault ‘Time To Freak’.
The Brighton-based trio Harry Diamond, Segal Hall and Keiron McTernan have also found huge success with their ‘Sunset Strippers’ and ‘Machines Welding Weapons’ alias, with music used in CSI Miami, Mitsubishi and Rimmel adverts staring Kate Moss in America to name a small fraction of their work.
With two remixes supporting the original which supplies a bouncy, grimy beat with some dude telling us ‘Its Time to Freak’ expect to hear this at silly O’ Clock in a grubby warehouse. Prok & Fitch’s remix is a slightly more stripped back reverby affair with synthy strings and a breakdown to have the dance floor ready ‘to freak’ afterwards. And last but by no means least, MDE roll out a remix under their ‘Machines Welding Weapons’ guise, a bleepy breaks tinged take on the original with a heavy punch packing bass line.
Already receiving DJ support across the board from Sander Van Doorn to Sarah Main, My Digital Enemy has delivered the goods once again!
