Mutiny Launch Mutations at Inigo
May 08, 2006
Following three highly successful years at the AKA Bar iin Central London, top London house duo Mutiny?s storming monthly party ?Mutations? makes the journey south and find its new home at Inigo ? South London?s favourite DJ bar.
Mutiny AKA Dylan Earl Barnes (originally hailing from South London) and Rob Davy have carved a massive name for themselves on the global house scene since early 2000 through producing some of the finest off-kilter house house music that draws it?s influences from a wide range of sounds all wrapped up in a warm ?boompty-boomp? lining
In early 2000 the pair dropped the massive single ?Secrets? on their own label ?Sunflower? which went onto picked up by Virgin Records and became a massive hit globally sparking the duo to record their first album ?In The Now? which included the excellent single ?The Virus?. Following a DJ Schedule that has seen them tour the globe, 2004 saw them return to the studio to release ??Ya? Self? and ?Dem Girls? on Darren Emerson?s massive Underwater imprint followed by their 2nd artist album, the critically acclaimed ?Yada Yada?.
?Mutations? sees the guys return south to bring their unique party vibe to Inigo with each event featuring the guys playing back to back alongside regular guests and vocals from the excellent Amber Jolene. The Launch on the 19th will also double as the launch for Sunflower Digital, the digital offshoot of their own label that has been instrumental in the pairs rise to fame. Following the launch the party will move to the last Friday of the month. Next event Friday June 30th
