The mulletover 3rd birthday WIG party, in March, was one of the most colourful and shameless mulletover’s yet.. Held in a massive tunnel in London Bridge, over 1000 of London’s super party people wore the worst wigs they could find and did what they do best (rave) to Geddes, Zip, MyMy Live and Gavin Herlihy.
On April 28th, Mobilee’s Sebo K – a long standing key figure on the Berlin underground – joins mulletover resident Geddes and Dirty Disco’s Dave Sandford for some fun. It’s also a special charity event in aid of Lake of Stars the Malawi festival held between 5-7 October 2007. Lake of Stars will be hosting room two with Matty J, Wandy, Luke Carr and Sarah Sweeney. mulletaid!
Sebo K began DJing in the early 90s, starting as a resident for Alec Empire’s Bass Terror parties – Berlin’s first UK breakbeat parties. In the mid-90s he found the sounds of Chicago House and Detroit techno and here you have the result.. He is currently resident at Berlin’s Watergate and regularly guests at Weekend – as well as playing in all the best parties around Europe. As a producer, Sebo has released on labels including Sonar Kollektiv, PIAS (with Anja Schneider), Highgrade and of course Mobilee.
Geddes aka Rekleiner has been busy in the studio of late – forthcoming remixes include for Infant recordings (reminxing Elon’s ‘Tamingo’) and Matterform (Adultnapper and Holmar Filipsson’s ‘Fourescent’) as well as the next Rekleiner release ‘untitled’ coming in May on Connaisseur.. On the DJ scale, forthcoming gigs include Pulp Mansion and Watergate in Berlin, Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, Pulp in Paris, D Club in Lausanne and the Renaissance festival in the UK..
Dave Sandford, resident of Dirty Disco in Leeds has DJd for nights/clubs including Space in Ibiza (resident for Dave Beer’s Electric Lady Land parties with We Love), Circo Loco in London, Familia in London, Goa Club in Rome, Snowbombing in Austria, Media in Nottingham and is regular face at the infamous Kubicle afterhours in London.. Forthcoming, Sandford is set to launch his own label: ‘Spinitch recordings’.. watch this space.
There will be an extra £1 charge on the door to go towards raising money for Malawai Lake Of Stars fund.
