Michael Jackson to play 02 Arena in London

Michael Jackson will play a record-breaking 30-date residency at the O2 Arena in London this year, it has again been claimed.

The pop superstar has been linked with a live return in recent months, both as a solo performer and with his old band, the Jackson 5.

According to reports in the UK press over the weekend, Jacko will be paid £1 million per show, raking in £30 million in total.

Last year, Prince hosted a 21-concert run of gigs at the reopened venue, which was formerly the Millennium Dome.

Michael Jackson is also said to be working on his first album of new material since 2001′s “Invincible” with will.i.am and 50 Cent.
