?I Hate My Job? is the follow up track to the widely acclaimed Hoods & Badges EP released on digital-only over the summer. ?Job? has quickly become a live favourite with the terrace-style chorus already being chanted by fans at Marv?s gigs. And no wonder! This song deals with that Monday morning moment that everyone has had or is having right now. The new single is available on CD / Download and is accompanied by ?Music Man? which cleverly samples M:Craft?s ?Sweets? to stunning effect.
Marvin?s live shows, playing alongside the likes of Art Brut, The Research and GoodBooks, coupled with an internet-first approach have developed a fanatical fan-base making Marvin The Martian one of the most exciting prospects to emerge from UK hip-hop (or grime or Grindie, whatever the hell its called!) ever. A residency at The Old Blue Last has fine-tuned the performance and given Marvin the chance to support Akala & Yes Boss on their forthcoming UK tours throughout October and November.
