Shrouded in secrecy, Marco V?s latest compilation is regarded as his best work to date. Its taken months to perfect and is heading for the shops this October. Holland?s hottest music master is a purist, and Combi:nations:2 is downright excellence.
Marco is one of the world?s most versatile music maestros; He is the master of screwing with sound, messing with different genres to the point that properly deciphering his style is hardly possible. You cannot label Marco as one kind of DJ, and Combi:nations:2 will demonstrate just that.
As a special treat, on Friday 15th September, Turnmills, one of the UK?s most influential venues and host to the infamous Gallery is playing host to the London launch party of Combi:nations:2, but before you switch off; this is a launch party with a huge difference. In the 15 years Turnmills has been open, not once has the following been done. Marco won?t be playing in one room, he?ll be playing in 3 rooms! For those who?ve pigeon holed this world class DJ as a jock who does trance ? think again!
From 12am-2am Marco will showcase the sound of part one of his new compilation in T2. Entitled the ?Backroom? CD1 encompasses a fucked up electro fest packed with sonic rock, filth, tech and groove, the perfect start to the night. Moving from T2 to the main room in Turnmills is when the second surprise of the night unfolds. You won?t see Marco V during this set, instead you?ll get an audio visual experience mastered and mixed live by the man himself. Marco has handpicked this material purposely for this appearance and it is not to be missed. Finally at 4am and for now charged to the max, Marco will finish his night delivering a techno set ? V STYLE in room 3.
