The Love Is Back
Loveparade 15th of July 2006,

After a two-year break, the Loveparade Berlin relaunches on July 15th, 2006 with fresh energy and a new concept. On ten stages, the Underground/Talent Floors, a Live Stage and a Chill Out Area, as well as on 40 moving Soundsystems on trucks called Floats, today’s cutting edge electronic music will be presented in various styles.

Club Culture representatives of 17 nations were chosen from 400 international candidates equally by online voting and Loveparade’s music professionals committee to run Floats. Entirely new are also the 10 Underground/ Talent Floors, which will feature the creative basis of todays dance music and the future of international club culture on solid stages.

Unchanged is the traditional closing manifestation, where all 40 mobile Soundsystems will circle around Siegess?ule, linked to create the biggest floor ever to be played by a DJ, holding up to a million people from all over the world: with 20 minute sets by the internationally most acclaimed DJs and newcomers, amongst those no lesser than Ricardo Villalobos, Paul van Dyk, Onur ?zer, Westbam, Tiesto and Ewan Pearson the party hits the final peak in the heart of Berlin.

After the disappointing cancellations of the Loveparades in 2004 & 2005 finally the biggest open air party of modern electronic music again becomes the cultural event, as well as the cult event it is known for internationally.
