Get ready to celebrate with Like-Minded People Presents, as club land’s most sociable party reaches the grand old age of two.

Combining the sharpest upfront house music, with an utterly frivolous house-party atmosphere LMPPresents marks its clubbing adolescence at the world’s most famous nightclub. 80s inspired electro hot-shot, Ben Macklin will join regulars Rachel Barton, Adam K and Dillon Koenig for the ultimate Baby Box Birthday bash.

Friends and radio producers Adam K and Dillon Koenig started LMP two years ago, as a free event hosted in Hoxton Bars for their extended friendship group. The idea was to provide a place where people could catch up with friends, old and new in an easy-going environment with incredible music: queue the name Like-Minded People. Often shortened to LMP the three-letter acronym now stands for anything you want!. Be it Lamb Minted Pizza or Lovely Moistened Pumpkins, it doesn’t matter, the only things always on the menu is lots of fun, and sickeningly good music; while pretentiousness and moody faces are strictly out of bounds.

Each month the guys give people the chance to play at the next party with the LMP Drop Box. Simply bring a mix along drop it in and you could be spinning at the next party. They also hand out everything from free LMP Hot Shots of tequila and goody bags containing anything from DIY iron-on t-shirt transfers and jewellery to drinks vouchers and CDs; while LMP house flavours have been laid out by an impressive selection of the guest Djs. Names such as Annie Mac, Fergie, Deepgroove, Damian Wilson, Kev Gorman, Jus’ Phil and Ben Macklin are just some of the artists that honed their beats the LMP way.

Moved on from its early free parties LMP is now regularly invited to bring its vibrant recipe to take over rooms at some of the UK’s most hip and happening clubs. Over the past 12 months its held shindigs in Ibiza; hosted a room alongside Deep Dish at MOS; blitzed the second room at Kissdafunk’s flagship night at Mission in Leeds; caused a commotion at Moondance NYE and rocked Bitch at Sankeys in Manchester. What’s more, this is only the beginning as they’d got a diary packed with lots more juicy dates across the U.K. scheduled for the coming months.
