Belgium’s No.1 trance legend returns following the smashing debut of his debut album ‘Revelations’ with the euro-phoric title track from this amazing album on Maelstrom.

Over the last ten years Belgium-born Johan Gielen has carved a niche for himself on the global trance circuit as a true purveyor of the finest sounds around as he constantly tours the world playing at some of the biggest and best parties across the globe. From his legendary residency at Tokyo-based Club Velfarre through to playing to anywhere up to 50,000 ravers at the infamous Dutch mega raves like Sensation, Dance Valley and Mysteryland, Johan has truly been pushing the sounds of trance since he first began DJ’ing.

Following massive solo productions ‘Dreamchild,’ ‘Flash’ and ‘Show Me What You Got’ alongside his joint productions with partner Sven Maes as ‘Airscape’ who’s remix of Delerium’s gigantic ‘Silence’ saw them being partly responsible for this record’s massive airplay success, 2006 sees Johan release his debut artist album ‘Revelations’, and what a belter it is.

‘Revelations’ (the single) is pure uplifting heaven, featuring The Slam Mix for radio; soaring synths underpinned by Johan’s piano musings which are extended on the Original Mix which you’ll be familiar with from the album; a pumping drive into late night bass with an almost prog-tech edge this is definitely a builder that’ll bring a smile to even the most hardened of faces.

With remixes from Global Experience on a more melodic piano led trance mix, the legendary techno heads, Filterheadz (Intec, Lupp, etc) with their trademark tech-house groove and new electro boy Estefan Folsch.
