Infected Mushroom - Becoming Insane

With a trajectory that mirrors The Prodigy’s transformation from hardcore outfit to chart-busting dance act, Israeli superstars, Infected Mushroom - Erez Aizen and Amit Duvdevani (aka Duvdev)—have grown from psy-trance scene leaders into one of the hottest dance bands on the planet. Incorporating infectious melodies, live instruments and vocals into their songs, they’ve played in front of well over a million people around the globe – something which has translated into record sales in many territories.

‘Becoming Insane’ is the first single taken from Infected Mushroom’s 6th and long awaited studio album ‘Vicious Delicious’. A key track from their global tours, it’s one of the upcoming album’s many highlights. The song blends flamenco beats and guitar driven riffs along with Duvdev’s haunting vocals, and features Gil Cerezo, the lead singer from Kinky, one of Mexico’s most acclaimed and successful bands.

Infected Mushroom’s energetic live show has wowed fans at some of the world’s largest and most important music festivals (including OMIX Festival in Mexico, Miami’s Ultra Festival, Tribe in Sao Paulo), and they continue to regularly sell-out top venues such as the Brixton Academy in London (2 consecutive dates in May), Toronto’s Koolhaus at the Government, and Avalon in New York and Los Angeles.

Included in this single release are new remixes of ‘Deeply Disturbed’ and ‘Merlin’, two of Infected’s previous hits (re-constructed here in the new Infected sound), plus the video for ‘Becoming Insane’.
