Houzecrushers ‘Touch Me’ (Nebula)
11/01/2007Well, 2007 certainly seems to be off and running already and Nebula Music’s first promo run of 2007 is certainly one to watch out for. Already massive in the clubs and on t’radio ‘Touch Me’ by Houzecrushers looks set to reaffirm your love of funky house music at it’s best.
Houzecrushers is the new production alias of Germany’s Eric Schmeier and Frank Knebel and Touch Me is THE biggest peak time house track to start 2007.
Frank aka Thomas Gold is an established producer and over the last 5 years has seen releases and remixes on labels such as Positiva, Ministry Of Sound, Boss, Kontor and Cyber. He also records as Smax & Gold, Level K and Phunkk Mob amongst others.
Eric aka Eric Smax has also been making music and DJing for over a decade under various guises but it’s with the Smax & Gold name more recently things have really taken off remixing tracks like Strike ‘U Sure Do’, Tilwest & DJ Delicious ‘Same Man’, Supermode ‘Tell Me Why’ and Soulseekerz ‘Party For The Weekend’
‘Touch Me’ samples the classic Ecstasy, Passion & Pain 70’s disco track Touch And Go, made famous in the 90’s by JX on the equally classic Son Of A Gun and we’re telling you now… they don’t come much bigger than Houzecrushers new version.
Already causing heavy dance floor damage from limited UK promo’s pre-Christmas and now set for a full UK release on March 12th, Houzecrushers is already raiding the nations radio airwaves and looks set to cross over.
