The Big Chill 2008 - The Orb, Natty and auditions for festival buskers
July 07, 2008
Electronic ambient pioneers The Orb are to play a top slot at The Big Chill 2008. They will play the Castle Stage following the withdrawal of Fat Freddy’s Drop, who were forced to pull out of their European tour due to recording commitments.
The Orb’s appearance follows the cancellation of The Sunrise Celebration festival at the end of May this year where they were due to appear. The event was hit by extreme flash-flooding and The Big Chill subsequently invited the Somerset based festival and their ticket holders to Eastnor. The Big Chill are delighted to add the Sunrise headliner to join the fantastic 2008 line-up.
Other fresh additions to the bill include New Zealand acoustic sensation Aronas, a solo acoustic performance from Ninja’s tunes Fink, and one of 2008’s hottest tips; Natty.
