10/11/2006Dance DJ chart duo The Freemasons have teamed up with GaydarRadio to promote their highly anticipated new single and debut album, Shakedown , which are both released by Loaded Records in January 2007.
The promotion, which breaks on November 13 and will run for 20 weeks, includes a special GaydarRadio mix of the new single Rain Down Love, featuring Siedah Garrett, which will be available exclusively for download only on GaydarRadio.
The Freemasons themselves will be performing weekly in Club Nation, and those mixes will be repeated in a special New Year Club Nation.
The on air campaign is supported by two competitions and other special incentives to drive both awareness and album sales.
On January 26 2007, GaydarRadio will stage Freemasons Takeover Day, featuring interviews and chat with presenters across the day, album tracks and The
Freemasons Upfront Chart, a selection of the duo?s top 20 favourite dance tracks ever.
Presented over two CDs, Shakedown brings together the Freemasons? biggest releases to date, blending hot remixes and a wealth of new and unreleased
material. The album features the acclaimed re-mix of RnB superstar Beyonce?s D?j? Vu and I Feel Like, featuring long term cohort Amanda Wilson.
Commenting on the tie-up, GaydarRadio Programme Controller Robin Crowley, said: ?This album seals the gilt on The Freemasons? golden touch. It?s sweat
soaked funky house at its best. We plan to give this album the full Gaydar works, weeks ahead of the official single and album releases.?
Shakedown, the debut album for the Freemasons is released on Loaded Records on January 22 2007.
One of the most in demand remix and productions teams in dance music, the Freemasons are James Wiltshire and Russell Small.
