The biggest date on the Welsh dance music calendar is back! Escape Into The Park 2006 returns to Swansea?s Singleton Park on Saturday 17th June for a twelve hour musical bonanza, packed to the rafters with festival fun. This year, the pride of Newport, Goldie Lookin Chain, will be donning their finest Matalan tracksuits, their glitziest chains and dropping their notorious South Wales Rap Patois to raz up the headline slot in incredible style.
They say: This summer will see the second coming of love. We?re more than overjoyed to be appearing at this year?s Escape in the Park event. Not only for the amazing women and tearing party atmosphere, but because we get to party in Wales and also get to stay at the Pantycelyn guesthouse on Oyster Mouth road. We also want to see sixty thousand ravers on the beach at 5am, just like Ibiza, but with better pubs.

The line up for 2006 is bigger than ever and literally screams out fantabulous, non-stop party tunage. DJs from all over the world are being brought together for this absolutely tremendous knees up, including the US deep house duo Deep Dish, Holland?s most famous clubbing export Armin Van Buuren, and Blighty?s very own Judge Jules from Radio 1.

As well as Judge Jules, Radio 1 will be there with Dave Pearce and Tim Westwood, plus Ronnie Herel and Blakey from sister station 1Xtra. Radio 1 are broadcasting live from the festival to the whole nation so anyone?s who?s not there can join in too. Go online at www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/events for more information.
