Delirium Volume 2 - Dave Pearce

February 05, 2008

Beloved as “the people’s DJ’, Dave Pearce has been one of the UK’s fiercest proponents of underground trance in the UK for over a decade. As the host of Radio 1’s legendary Dance Anthems show, and a stalwart of the British dance scene, Pearce has also signed and broken more dance hits than you can wave a glowstick at.

Something of a British institution, his Delirium club events have welcomed thousands of clubbers through its doors. Now held at the equally legendary Ministry Of Sound, they’re a road-blocked affair for the youngest clubbers found this side of Channel Four’s Skins.
Ministry Of Sound is the biggest single force in worldwide dance culture – no question. A powerhouse for crossover and underground talent, its labels and releases dominate record collections and charts in equal measure, while their compilations become the definitive musical snapshots of their day.

This aural collision of three titan brands is the second release in the Delirium series, and one which further cements the trio’s reputation for providing the very best dance music for your listening pleasure. Delirium Volume One was both a huge seller and a critical success, packed full of underground anthems months before they hit the shops, and one which set the standard for cutting-edge trance music in 2007.
As trance’s domination of the DJ Top 100 Poll continues (the Top 3 are all DJs of that genre), Dave once again puts his stamp on the sound digging out the biggest and purest underground cuts that are powering up dancefloors present and future.
A who’s who of the best new stars coming through within the scene, the double CD mix features tracks and remixes from Breakfast, Adam White vs Rozza, Onova, John O’Callaghan feat Audrey Gallagher, Richard Durrand, Andre Visior & Kay Stone, Sebastian Brandt and many more.
Catch the Delirium experience live on 22 February, as the event returns to Ministry Of Sound for its first party of 2008.
