Club Azuli at The Cross - Xpress 2 feat Ashley Beadle & Diesel

January 23, 2007

Azuli Records home-grown party Club Azuli will host its first party of 2007 at its London home The Cross, on Saturday 17th February.

The UK’s longest running independent label will open its doors at 10pm sharp for the bi-monthly party to commence. The Christmas party was one-in-one-out at midnight, crowds queued for two hours, and the club was still busy at 5:30am, so getting down early is advised!

Renowned for its uber-cool edge and quality electronic music, Club Azuli is set to woo the trash glamour crowds who flock there and what a line-up it has in store. Xpress 2 will be making an exclusive return to The Cross after their own night Music Xpress ended at the same venue last year. Xpress 2 members Ashley Beadle and Diesel have decided that Club Azuli is the perfect night for them to return to their hold haunt, performing in a 4 deck / 2 mixer spectacular. Azuli main man, David Piccioni will dish out his style of funky electronica and will be joined by Chibuku resident, Wandy, a Mixmag ‘Future Hero’ thanks to his style of cutting edge electronic house and deep, twisted techno.

Headlining the lounge is one of the UK’s top producers, ATFC who is no stranger to scoring hit tracks from his own productions and remixing for superstar names such as Fat Boy Slim, Missy Elliot, Shapeshifters, and Moby - and of course, his label Onephatdeeva. Joining ATFC is Push FM disc jockey Tony English - a man in the know about house music in all its forms; the Be Good boys Ryan Taylor & John Spacey who are celebrating Be Good’s third birthday; and no Club Azuli party would be complete without Togetherness hosting the third arch.

This party also marks the launch of the brand new Club Azuli 3 album, due out on 19th Feb. Across two discs, the album contains the biggest and newest sounds in house music. Also backing up the album release is a Club Azuli Worldwide Tour, kicking off on 8th Feb in Dubai and visiting destinations from Sydney to Capetown.

Club Azuli is one year old in Feb and going on the success of the parties last year - 2007 looks to be a very promising year indeed!
