Premiere New York City club Cielo continues its highly-acclaimed CD series with the 3rd installment Cielo: Seventh Heaven (2xCD) mixed by resident DJs Nicolas Matar and Willie Graff on Kinkysweet Recordings out March 27th, 2007. Both Matar and Graff will host and DJ a special album release party at Cielo on Friday, March 30th.

The Cielo compilation series has amassed a worldwide audience and appeals to the more mature and seasoned dance music aficionados. The ongoing success of the series is a testament to the overall programming and underlying vibe at Cielo which celebrates quality dance music above all else. Both CDs are mixed and compiled by Nicolas Matar and Willie Graff together, bringing together their common musical bearings and keen sense of DJing style.

The first CD ‘Balearic’ plays homage to the old school balearic house music from Ibiza in the Balearic Islands . Both DJs have a long history in Ibiza , with Matar involved in the Ibizan house music movement for over 15 years and Graff being born on the island itself and currently holding a summer residency at Pacha Ibiza. This selection of tracks takes the listener on a journey into deeply soulful and melodic Latin infused tracks with an atmospheric feel. The disc highlights standout producers like Sonar Kollektiv artists’ Âme & Markus Enochson, as well as superb remixes by UK ’s deep house legend Charles Webster and Stockholm artist Tiger Stripes (nee Mikael Nordgren).

The second CD ‘Subterranean’ is an eclectic selection of contemporary deep house. The tracks are representative of the music played at Cielo by resident DJs Matar and Graff at their hugely popular weekly residencies at Cielo – Paradizo Saturdays and Playtime Fridays, respectively. Some of the highlighted artists include Buzzin’ Fly’s Rocco , France ’s hottest producer DJ Fudge, Masters At Work artist Alix Alvarez & NYC’s top producer Quentin Harris.

Since its opening in 2002, Cielo has become an internationally renowned dance music nightclub brand and has upheld its edict of world-class music, professional service and all-inclusive atmosphere. Now, following on from the critically acclaimed Cielo CD series (‘Paradizo’ and ‘Cloud 9’), Kinkysweet presents the third compilation that will take you on a journey into the sophisticated side of New York nightlife with a stellar mix of deep house vibes and that will transport you to Seventh Heaven.
