Carl Cox finds Religion
February 23, 2007
or eight consecutive nights this Summer, the Carl Cox at Space phenomenon moves onwards and upwards. The King of Clubs has commissioned edgy fashion label Religion to dress the venue, converting the club into a Casino-themed house of glamour and decadence.
To mark the sixth year at Space, Carl has yet again pushed the boundaries and created the most exciting clubbing environment to date, which has led to the creative exchange between Carl and Religion. This partnership is sure to give the clubbers what they deserve and enhance their clubbing experience.
The night will run as usual on Tuesdays throughout the summer, with the launch on July 24th and the closing party on September 11th.

Trading for ten years, with over 3000 stockists worldwide, Religion’s hand-drawn graphics and signature designs are worn by Kate Moss, Gwen Stefani, Keira Knightley and the Dirty Pretty Things. Religion has developed as an underground phenomenon, focusing on experimentation and making designer-wear affordable for fashion-led individuals across the globe.
Head-designer Donovan Pascal is responsible for injecting the right combination of sex and sensibility into subversive yet beautiful designs. Donovan feels that it is important to look at the past and bring back key elements and moods and invigorate them into the now - a vintage with venom.
With a passion for style, Religion’s designers often pick up a hint of a new trend emerging from far-flung niches of the world, nurturing, evolving and feeding them into the discerning masses in Europe, USA, Japan, and Australia.
In Summer 2006 Religion women’s wear had the fastest growing sell-through
in Selfridges. This growing demand often saw people asking retailers world-wide: Where can I find Religion?
Carl has given Religion the opportunity to show the same creativity and dynamism at Space that is renowned in their designs. God probably isn’t a DJ, but anyone making the pilgrimage to Space will no doubt have a religious
experience.
