Björk has hit out at the lack of credit she has received for work on her own recordings.

Instrumental compositions on Vespertine, the singer’s 2001 album, have repeatedly been credited to her engineer Valgeir Sigursson.
In an open letter to Icelandic paper Reykavik Grapevine, Björk said: “It still feels like after all these years people cannot imagine that women can write, arrange or produce music.
“I have experienced many times that the work I do on the computer gets credited to whatever male is within a 10-metre radius.”
Björk was unhappy with the Icelandic newspaper for falsely crediting Sigursson as producer of Vespertine in a recent edition.
