Bitch Returns to Sankeys for Bank Holiday Sunday 4th May

April 14th, 2008

For the last 18 months Bitch has been delivering its avant-garde, electro, experience across Manchester and on Sunday 4th May 2008, returns to its original home for the first time in 12 months with a trio of talent alongside their rising stars of tomorrow!

Over the past year Bitch has seen its debauchery grace some of Manchester most illustrious venues with 1000s of party goers fueling the fire for success. A fine blend of provincial talent alongside some of the most edge-cutting artists on the electro and house circuit can be held accountable for their meteoric rise. An ethos of hedonism cut against a glamorous backdrop of a city famous for music and entertainment and you have one of the most precocious events in Manchester.

The May bank holiday sees Klaas make his Manchester debut showcasing his distinct energetic style of electro house. Klaas has enjoyed underlying success across Europe with his vivacious blend of electronic and house grooves with numerous releases attracting the attentions of giants such as Sony BMG. Whether it be a solo or collaborative cut, Klaas’s repertoire extends throughout the genre with a decade of experience upholding this Cologne legacy.

Joining Klaas in the basement will be Simma Records very own Will Bailey. The boy from Birmingham needs little introduction with a plethora of tracks finding there way into every electro house DJs playlist. Will has enjoyed success producing for the likes of Mark Knight, Richard Dinsdale, Hoxton Whores and his DJ vocation mirrors his studio trade with multitudinous appearances at some of the top clubs in the world such as Turnmills, Sankeys and SEOne as well as tours across New Zealand and Australia. Will Bailey really is the real deal and one of the fastest rising heroes in electro house.

Completing the trio of talent for this bank holiday extravaganza is Dirtbag recording’s Ed Kane. Often been described as a leader of the new school, Ed has been pioneering a unique and fresh approach to electro, his tracks have enabled him to secure gigs the country over and beyond. Starting life in the music industry as a sound engineer, Ed’s technical knowledge in the studio has enabled him to produce some truly innovative tracks. These skills have enabled Ed to sign tunes and remix for some of the worlds biggest dance labels including: Toolroom, Stealth, Definitive, Gut and Gusto, as well as remixing Kosheen’s new single ’Overkill’. His stuff has been supported by some of the biggest names in dance music including: Armand Van Helden, Tom Stephan, Eddie Halliwell, Mark Knight, D-Ramirez, Martijn Ten Velden, Micky Slim, Grayham Gold, Filthy Rich, and Noir.

Alongside these three heavyweights, Bitch puts its faith firmly in the class of 2008 with resident Daley Padley and the ever impressing H2. Daley has been creating shock-waves on the circuit with releases and remixes for Subliminal as well as strong DJ support from Roger Sanchez and Sander Kleinenberg. H2 has been enjoying undying success with their Filthy Sessions nocturnal imprint hosting titans such as James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli and Sebastien Leger. With strong productional support from Jay Herd’s JFunk this duo are set for continued prosperity.

The boutique plays tribute to the new school of talent on Bitch’s books with Dillan L.R. Being joined by Jake Kauffman, Paul C, Lance Cunningham and Shaun C. For the more reticent attendees, Matt Lightfoot and friends will be hosting the bar.

Spread across 3 rooms, this bank holiday spectacle is an occasion for all persuasions, a night of hedonistic glamour in one of the top 20 clubs in the world; Sankeys…MISS IT, MISS OUT!
