Ben Watt Presents Buzzin? Fly at The End
6/09/2006
Ben Watt and his award winning Buzzin? Fly imprint return for another night of quality deep electronic house at their quarterly soiree at The End on Friday September 22nd.
Buzzin? Fly have enjoyed another vintage summer of success, with the latest installment in Ben Watt?s mix compilation series, ?Buzzin? Fly Vol. 3?, finding favour with both the critics and the public. Buzzin? Fly?s underground summer hits have been laced with warm swathes of techno and taut acidic soul. The likes of Kayot?s ?Clear Sky?, Darkmountaingroup?s ?Lose Control? and Ame?s massive remix of Rodamaal?s ?Insomnia? have dominated clubs and compilations this summer, and added another dimension to the Buzzin? Fly sound.
Following Ben?s unforgettable all night rollercoaster set back in June, he will be taking to the main room for an extended three hour stint behind the turntables and will be joined by a flawless selection of guests.
Michael Vater aka Phonique has garnered an unblemished reputation through an extensive track-record of releases of the highest quality, particularly for the revered Poker Flat Recordings. His recent remix of Lephtee?s ?So Far Back? saw him make his first appearance on Buzzin? Fly vinyl, and his hotly anticipated performance at The End on September 22nd will be another set to savour.
San Francisco’s wonderkid, Justin Martin, who has followed up early Buzzin’ Fly releases with recent dirty jackin’ techno mixes for Claude VonStroke’s deadly Dirty Bird label, jets in. Longtime London resident Chris Woodward helps join the dots.
Expect simply the very best deep and sultry house washed down by serene modernist techno, dirty underground bleeps and taut Berliner beats.
