Amber D releases Massive New Remix of 12″ Thumpers Classic
February 26, 2007
After the success of Amber D’s last release on tidy, the first ever double EP by any artist on the label, it was only a matter of time before she returned with another piece of fiery production.
This time Amber turns her skills to the hard house classic Don’t Cross The Line by the 12” Thumpers – released today, 26th February 2007. Amber has never done a remix before, which when you hear the track is extremely hard to understand. Filled with some of the filthiest hard riffs you’ve ever heard and a ferocious breakdown with a killer ‘hands-in-the-air’ moment, she’s come up with a track that wipes the floor with everything else out so far this year (and most of what came out last year to be fair!).
“When the chance arose to remix Don’t Cross The Line, I knew it was the right decision. I have been asked to remix in the past, but I wanted my first remix to be of a tune that meant a lot to me and to a lot of the clubbers,” Amber said.
“Tidy asked me to remix the track after my Amber D EP turned out to be the highest selling release on tidy for the whole of 2006! I haven’t strayed too far from the original on the mix, I have just brought it up to date and added my own little twist to it!
“It seems to be going down extremely well with the likes of Glazby, Farley, Whitby and the Tidy Boys, all of whom chart it very highly, with the Tidy Boys making it their record of the week on their Galaxy show.
“Watch this space for more of the same in the next few weeks as I head back in the studio with the likes of Public Domain (Mark Sherry), Maddox, Ugly Dave and Digital Kid,” she added.
The track is out on tidy on today but you will have already heard it smashing up and down dance floors around the country!
