Ali B Presents Air Live

Over the last decade Ali B has held down residencies at two of London’s most influential clubs, The Blue Note and Fabric. He spent his teens working at the Acid Jazz label and then as a DJ, went on to host a weekly radio show on Capital FM for five years. Alongside compilations for Fabric, Y4K and his own Air Recordings label, Ali’s artist productions, including his recent track with The Jungle Brothers, have taken him, and his sound to an international audience.

Rennie Pilgrem Presents The TCR Allstars (Live)
This will be the first chance to see The TCR Allstars perform tracks from their highly anticipated new album. It was 10 years ago when Air hosted proceedings at the Blue Note and a young sprightly Mr Pilgrem performed live under his Thursday Club moniker. We’ve tried everything; moving house, changing phone numbers but still we can’t shake him.

Diverted (Live)
Diverted’s latest excursion ‘Annihilating Rhythms’ (originally featured on Ali B’s Air Breaks album) and ‘Fing’ have been picking up rave reviews and plays from Kiss and Radio 1. Catch them live at Air alongside fellow band members Jono ‘Cosmic’ Bell and Nine Lives The Cat and see why so many are heralding them as the future of electronica.

Joining the bill is Janette Slack, who, in a short time, has established herself as one of the hottest artists around. Her debut release on Air Recordings (’Shake & Play’/ ‘Red Ramona’) is out soon and has already been causing quite a stir amongst tastemakers. Finishing the line-up is Mr No Hands. This wonderkid plays his Air debut and is tipped for great things. Recently signed up by Youtube for his stunning video work, expect to hear – and see –more of him for years to come.
