Ali B Presents Air Live

April 27, 2006

Ali B?s London based club night Air has rocked the Capital with the finest beats and breaks for the past 9 years, regularly causing the kind of queues most promoters can only dream about. Now a force to be reckoned with on the festival circuit, with arenas at Global Gathering, Glastonbury, Hi-Fi, Two Tribes (Australia) and beyond, Air is the place where you?ll find the biggest and brightest talents in the genre.

Following hugely successful stints at the likes of Blue Note, 333, Mass in Brixton, and the most recent venue, The Rhythm Factory, Air continue to switch things up, taking breaks to the next level with their new quarterly ?Battle Of The Breakbeat Bands? sessions. Get ready for a new chapter in London clubland, as Air goes live?

We welcome to the stage acclaimed new live outfit, Hyper, the mighty Atomic Hooligan, and Future Funk Squad ? three hotly tipped bands alongside DJs including Ali B, future star Janette Slack, and the formidable Clive Morley & Ladykilla. This will also be the UK launch party for the forthcoming Ali B Presents Air Breaks album, the definitive snapshot of the worldwide breaks scene in 2006, featuring tracks from Air stalwarts including Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, DJ Icey, and many more.

This party is already looking like a roadblock, so in time honoured fashion, make sure you get there early, Air queues have developed a legendary status, but it?s what?s inside that counts?
