In light of recent events surrounding Craig Charles, Ali B hosted this weekend?s Funk Shows on BBC 6.
Ali, who has hosted the show several times in the past year, began work at the hugely influential Acid Jazz record label as a teenager, before going on to become resident at the legendary Blue Note club in the 1990’s. After heading up Slice PR?s specialist department, handling PR for the likes of Gilles Peterson and Norman Jay, Ali went on to host the dance show on London?s Capital Radio for five years.

The mastermind behind beats brand, Air, one of London’s most successful club nights and a regular feature at international festivals including Global Gathering, Glastonbury, and Australia’s Two Tribes; Ali also runs Air Recordings, and is Fabric’s longest running resident DJ.
