Sonny J - live in all their glory - at Cargo, Thursday 6th December onstage 9.00 pm

It is the season to be jolly! I’d love for you to join us for a couple of Christmas drinks at this show. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Let me know if you are around and I’ll sort out tickets.

Now ladies and gentlemen, the man you’ve all been waiting to hear..and can now come and see live…

Late Summer 2007 and the charts are cluttered up with gloomy indie bands and stage-school kids. Yep. And the Pope is still a catholic, and bears do indeed shit in the woods.

Hold on a minute though, here’s Sonny J to gatecrash what, lets face it, is a pretty dismal party. You may not know the boy yet, but be patient children for he comes bearing gifts, the first of which came in the shape of debut single “Can’t Stop Moving”; a sonic smash n grab more infectious than the ebola virus and twice as dangerous for the dullards currently dominating the nation’s airwaves, all this before being signed, published or anyone was really ready…

A deal with $tateside / EMI and a nationwide tour in support of Groove Armada later, Sonny J are lined up to do their first full live headline show at Cargo on December 6th (expect Sly Stone for the 21st Century) and have finished their debut album “Disastro”, coming in March 2008.
