After the success of Amber D’s last release on tidy, the first ever double EP by any artist on the label, it was only a matter of time before she returned with another piece of fiery production.
This time Amber turns her skills to the hard house classic Don’t Cross The Line by the 12” Thumpers – released today, 26th February 2007. Amber has never done a remix before, which when you hear the track is extremely hard to understand. Filled with some of the filthiest hard riffs you’ve ever heard and a ferocious breakdown with a killer ‘hands-in-the-air’ moment, she’s come up with a track that wipes the floor with everything else out so far this year (and most of what came out last year to be fair!).

The End launches its first weekly after hours on Sunday 4th March - Jaded.
Jaded has always been an after hours, not a carry on – a big party in its own right, and moving to The End means the new guest DJs and attention to detail we have always dreamed of, not to mention one of the best sound systems in the world.
The party will run like never before, a highly ritualised day designed to lift clubbed-out spirits and marched-out raving feet that begins the moment you step into AKA. In the tradition of some of the most legendary parties, we will warm you up properly - with music that inspired the electronic debauchery below. Later on in the day there’ll be more physical and visual entertainment to keep even the most restless of after hours soldiers amused.

Friday March 2nd is a landmark date in the history of drum & bass. Ram Records has been one of the most important drum & bass labels in the history of the genre. They have been at the very forefront of drum & bass ever since Ant Miles and a sixteen year old Andy C released the label’s debut ‘Sour Mash EP’ in 1992, and almost immediately wrote the label into jungle history with their genre-defining and scene-shaping magnum opus ‘Valley of the Shadows’ in 1993.
The years since have seen the label become one of the scene’s dominant forces with one of the tightest knit collectives. Along with the founding fathers, the talents of Shimon, Moving Fusion and Red One were soon incorporated in to their stable, and later the likes of Nightbreed and Subfocus were added, creating one of the most formidable collectives in the scene. Their music has been of such consistently high quality it’s possible to pick a drum & bass anthem of the year for every year from the Ram catalogue alone.

Calabria was first conceived by producer Rune, released on Credence in 2003 and has since been one of the most popular bootlegged tracks. A HUGE club anthem in its own right, most bootlegs have featured the vocal talent of Crystal Waters, famed for her own massive chart success in 1991 with ‘Gypsy Woman (La Da Dee La Da Da)’ ‘Destination Unknown’ has been an Ibiza anthem for the last 3 years running.
For those that don’t know Calabria is a place in Italy and so it only seems right that ‘Destination Calabria’ is produced by Italian dance god Alex Gaudino; who has also had releases on Positiva ‘Lil Love’, ‘Blue Lipstick’ on Hed Kandi and ‘Reaction’ on Data.
Big support comes from the Galaxy network who have already Superhitted Destination Calabria and won hands down everyday on their ‘Fly or Die’ listener vote competition. Also championed by the likes of Judge Jules on Radio 1, Andi Durrant and many more….

If you’ve had your ears anywhere near a dancefloor in the past few months, then you can’t fail to have heard one of clublands biggest anthems, Another Chance’s ‘Every Time I See Her (Sound Of Eden)’. A cover of Shades Of Rhythm’s rave classic, ‘Sound Of Eden’, this is simply one of dance music’s hottest records right now.
From the same outfit that brought you Bodyrox’s ‘Yeah Yeah’, the fired up electro anthem that hit No.2 in the national charts in January, Another Chance is Jon Pearn (of Full Intention fame) and Nick Bridges’ other production project, with Abigail Bailey and Xavier Barnet providing the new vocals.
Jon, who as one half of dance legends, Full Intention, has released some of the UK’s finest house music in their 11-year career, joined forces with rising star, Nick Bridges, back in 2005. Nick, who holds residencies at both Ministry Of Sound and Fabric (DTPM), has held the rare title of MOS’s World Tour Resident, where he flew out every week spreading dance music’s message across the globe. Together they run Juki Records, the well-respected imprint for all things jacking house.

Heavyweight DJ support comes from the likes of Pete Tong, Deep Dish, Joey Negro, Fedde Le Grand, and many more, and with ‘crossover’ written throughout the record like a stick of rock, expect the charts to fall for this little beauty too.
What else would you expect from a collaboration between two of dance music’s production heavyweights and a sublime vocal talent? Both Paul Harris (formerly of Grammy Winners Dirty Vegas, Hydrogen Rockers, and all round good egg) and Steve Mac (ex-Rhythm Masters, cult producer, and the man mainstream acts come to for the perfect club remix) have etched their contributions to dance culture on the eardrums of millions, and with the addition of TJ Davis they look set to enjoy yet more success.
