The Infinite Monkey Project

What is the Infinite Monkey Project?

The Infinite Monkey Project is a plan to create a song based on the principles from the following theory: ?Due to the nature of infinity, a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard will almost surely eventually type every book in the Bibliotheque Nationale de France? Borel-Cantelli 1913.

It is also stated that an infinite number of monkey?s given an infinite number of typewriters would eventually type the complete works of Shakespeare!

OK great, but who uses typewriters anymore. And when did Shakespeare last have a hit single? Time to get all modern on the theory don?t you agree?

As One Presents: Cocoon with Sven Vath

 Foto Sv Big Sven Vath.Tif.Big

After a monumental summer at Amnesia in Ibiza, Cocoon returns to the warm and welcoming confines of The End for a full on winter party. This time, Sven Vath ? techno warlord and pioneer of all that is electronic, driving and uplifting ? is back in control of The End all night long. There is no escape ? and nor should you want there to be!

Part rock-star, part DJ, Sven throws himself into every set as if it was his last. Whether he?s ripping his shirt off, crowd surfing, or plugging his headphones into the mic socket and ad-libbing over the records, he?s a million miles away from the head-down-don?t-look-at-the-crowd school of DJ?s, and all the better for it. Gude laune!

The Disco-Tech of Bob Sinclar, 2/12 :: ?Africanism? Special

Fileadmin User Upload Artists Bobsinclar 01
The 4th and final part of Bob Sinclar?s exclusive London residency looks set to be a soiree to savour, as the debonair Frenchman presents an unmissable ?Night of Africanism? at Turnmills on Saturday 2nd December.

The addition of dance music?s dashing Bob Sinclar to the Turnmills family this year has quite frankly been a stroke of genius. Monsieur Sinclar has made the club his exclusive London home and with that he?s brought the partisan Parisians out in force at every event. Heck, the last ?Disco-Tech of Bob Sinclar? in October sold out BEFORE the night itself, so heaven knows how quickly they?ll sell for this extra special Winter Roadblock!! It?s fair to say that the man behind two of clubland?s hottest dancefloor smashes of the past two summers - ?Love Generation? and ?World Hold On? (both taken from Bob?s brilliant ?Western Dream? album) is now the biggest house DJ/Producer on the planet. With both singles gate-crashing the UK Top 20 Charts, Bob?s been at it again lately as his latest effort ?Rock This Party? currently sits in the Top 3. Go on son!!

Cillit Bang - Yeah I know !

Right put the kettle on, make a cup of tea and brace yourself ? this might take a while to sink in. Nukleuz Records are going for Christmas No.1 with a viral video sensation that parodies a famous cleaning product and was the brainchild of a (then) 16 year old kid messing around in his bedroom? made that tea yet? I think you should.

?Cillit Bang? is one of those truly unique results of 21st century technology and youthful creativity. A viral video sampled from a standard somewhat annoying TV advert for cleaning products branded ?Cillit Bang? infused with some classic choice edits against a pounding hardcore dance track. Then it was uploaded to one of the many sites that allows users to post videos (not YouTube but Luckykazoo) and low and behold the whole online world was able to watch the totally humorous and crazy result. It was by far the most popular video on Luckykazoo logging up over 2 million views! Since then 14 separate people copied it and uploaded it to YouTube (now taken down due to copyright infringement) It?s enjoyed Radio 1 support from Chris Moyles and Scott Mills, Virgin Radio support from Christian O?Connell, been featured in The Guardian and The Sun Online as well as having TV support from The Gadget Show and requests for use by MTV and many more? and this is only the start!
