?Break free? from clubbing tradition this month as Together presents ?Some Mothers Do ?ave It? and a surreal evening of disc jockeys, live music, laughing gas, dressing up, stupidly good fun, randomness and some seriously sic tunage? all in great honour of Mothering Sunday. This month?s mini-festival looks set to emulate February?s ?hat-rageously? good ?Hat Brigade?, as we ask you to ?Dress as your Mum?. No really. This month?s Star Prizes will be awarded to the ?Best Dressed Mums?, so now is the time to start raiding your Mum?s wardrobe for bloomers and frocks! Whether you?re a Desperate Housewife or just plain desperate? go on, give it a go.
Be the envy of all your friends as ?The Best Dressed Mum? will win a top of the range Sewing Machine, 2nd Prize is a rather dashing Cutlery Set, whilst 3rd Prize is a ?10 M&S Voucher. Please note: this dress code is not compulsory, but floral skirts, cardigans, blonde wigs, fake boobs, O.T.T lipstick are all encouraged, plus Hoovers, Ironing Boards, Feather Dusters and other household appliances are all very much welcome. Some of our dressing up suggestions include Pat Butcher, Deidre Barlow, Hilder Ogden & Nora Batty.
Just Added? The Laundretta?s
Honestly, you couldn?t make it up could you?! We?re delighted to announce that we?ve just added the 5 lovely Laundretta Ladies to this month?s special party. Armed with hoovers, ironing boards, dusters and more ? let the Laundretta?s take the weight of your shoulder as they clean up around Turnmills and mother you like only then can. This is what they do -
Darlings? Darlings? Darlings? Welcome to the wonderful word of the Laundrettas. Filled with Bubbles of Love, a much sparklier place where you can come and sip Tea with us, talk about your troubles and be bombarded with cuddles. A woman?s work is never done, a woman?s play is always fun and we?re never too busy to be beautiful?
Ok, so onto the music now. Having brought you The Chemical Brothers, Fischerspooner, David Guetta, Cassius, Ladytron, Trentemoller, John Dahlback and MSTRKRFT to name a few over the past few months? March?s party is a genre-bending, cross-dressing, disco-bopping affair as The Kitchen Room will literally have everything but the sink thrown at it by Chicago?s soon-to-be-superstars Greenskeepers. Their sensational 2nd album Pleetch spawned the hits, ?Filipino Phil, Man in the House? and ?Keep it Down? and the boys will be getting us all hot and bothered on the night, with their special mix of electro cool and quirky rock - it?s like P-Funk and E-Funk strutting hand-in-hand!! Germany?s hotly-tipped minimalist DJ/Producer Oliver Koletzki will also be cooking up more chaos in the Kitchen as he makes his exclusive UK Debut. His ?Der M?ckenscharm? track was one of the biggest tracks of 2005 (and featured on Pete Tong?s recent Essential Selection CD) and he?s expected to blow up in an even bigger way in 2006. Filling resident Justin Robertson?s disco boots this month will be Jon Carter - a Together legend in his own right and one of the finest purveyors of acid house the world has ever seen! There?s also more acid filth in store from The Liptrick - rising stars from hot Leeds label 20:20 Vision, who?ll get the night off to a flyer early doors.
Hot foot it to The Lounge, where we welcome cult magazine VICE to the mothership. They bring us Wagon Christ dude Luke Vibert on the decks, around a special live set from Tim Exile (who launches his new live album ?Nusance Gabaret Lounge? ? out in May on Planet Mu) and a mish-mash of sounds and styles from the Domino Records DJs (think Franz Ferdinand, Artic Monkeys, Test Icicles) and the Vice DJ Syndicate. Cool. Meanwhile, ?drag? yourselves down to The Bedroom where X-FM?s John Kennedy resumes his ?Midnight Ramble? residency. John has just scooped ?Best Radio Show? at the Timeout Awards for his acclaimed ?X-posure? show and his Midnight Ramble party follows the exact same concept ? which is to showcase an eclectic mix of new music and develop new talent to a wider audience. January?s debut session saw Shit Disco break the stage?s ?live virginity?, whilst for the March show, John has recruited the Mylo-esque sounds of Brighton outfit Metronomy and grime star Lethal Bizzle to perform live. John himself also hits the decks throughout the night, as will Coburn ? the UK?s hot new electro outfit famed for their ?We Interrupt this Programme? single. Elsewhere, party people Fishseeksbicycle offer more laughing gas in The Dining Room, before we Hoover our way upstairs to The Loft and the world of The Extraordinary Dancing Bazaar. Prepare to experience an optical illusion that will amaze, mystify and excite. Johnny Hiller and Ian Robinson return to ram-raid the decks, plus there?s a Mother?s Day Dressing Up Box (just in case you forget something!), Giant Rabbits jumping out of a Hat, a Hula Hoop competition, secret surprises and loads more to rummage around in. This month we also celebrate good ol? fashioned British Summertime (clocks go forward 1 hour) by bringing you ?The Magical Lost Hour? ? 60 minutes of magic, mischief and mayhem from 12-1am. Take your eyes off the dancefloor for a second and you?ll miss it!! Mum?s the word?

It?s not often that you see an artist from Beirut cropping up in the world of R&B, but Massari (which means money in Arabic) is definitely one to watch for 2006. The 24 Year Old, born in Beirut, Lebanon now lives in Canada (and has done since the age of 13) were his album is already certified gold.
Massari?s distinct voice married with a unique sound of heavy R&B beats and Middle Eastern melodies is set to make him one most exciting new artist to hit the UK in 2006. ?Because of my background, my music is heavily influenced with middle-eastern melodies. Over the past few years so many artists are trying to bring Arabic styles into their music, but mine is authentic?, explains Massari.
His debut single release in the UK entitled ?Be Easy? out on 27th March 2006, spent four months in the Top Ten in Canada and propelled him to A list celebrity status. His self entitled debut album which will be released in March in the UK, features upbeat dance tracks, mid-tempo joints and smooth ballads and one of Hip Hops major players, former Bad Boy Entertainment recording artist Loon. ?I?m definitely very selective about the records I get on. It didn?t matter if he was an established artist or not, it was just the quality of the record, the quality of the music that made me want to get involved?, says Loon
Massari (pronounced Ma-Sar-ee) cites Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin as musical influences. However, growing up he has been exposed to various styles of music and because of that his biggest influence is legendary Arabic singer George Wassouf. ?I sing from my heart and George Wassouf taught me to do that”, says Massari.

After the great success of ?In Search Of Sunrise Volume 4 - Latin America? Ti?sto returns for the first part of his 2006 release schedule with the latest instalment of this fantastic series this time subtitled ?Los Angeles?
Los Angeles, the city of angels, was the city where In Search Of Sunrise 5 was mixed as this is where Ti?sto has been spending the month of March working on new album tracks with one of world’s finest producers, Brian Transeau a.k.a. BT.
Therefore, following the themed ISOS series, Los Angeles is an obvious title for part 5 of the series. Containing a blend of the most beautiful progressive- and trance tracks from this moment, ISOS 5 will feature a selection of the music that is currently inspiring him whilst working on his album.
Ti?sto has selected some of the finest tracks from his recent sets and has signed most of the tracks especially and exclusively for this mix album, including tracks from the likes of Mark Norman, Late Night Alumni, Leama & Moor, Mattthew Dekay, Petter, Smith & Pledger, Way Out West and many more over two CDs ?In Search Of Sunrise 5? is a journey put together by one of the world?s leading DJs.
For all those lucky enough to be visiting this summers WMC in Miami, there will be a special album launch party at Mansion, Miami South Beach, on Sunday March 26th 2006. The Mansion was selected because of it’s intimate setting, which reflects the In Search Of Sunrise vibe.
To furthermore support this new release, Ti?sto will embark on an extensive Asian tour in March and April and a North-American tour the whole month of May. With a brand new artist album in the pipeline and some super hot DJ ? related activities scheduled for 2006, Ti?sto is set to return with a bang!
“In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles” (DJ Tiesto)

After his massive track ?Set Your Body Free? earlier this year, Gordon is now confirmed as RESIDENT FOR SUBLIMINAL AT PACHA, IBIZA this year!!
Gordon Edge, formerly known as Trumpetman, has had a hectic year; in addition to playing for Dusted at Eden, Balearlic People at Privilege, space and El Devino, he has been a resident at Subliminal at Pacha, setting Ibiza alight with his performances. Ant not forgetting his sets in Germany, Spain, Russia, Egypt, Austria and Prague.
For gordon, it all started in 1988, with his first 12? release, ?Go;Blow?. He set up his own labels ? EDGE Records, Rabbit City Records and XVX Records ? Two years later, and has sold half a million records to date, including ?Itza Trumpet Thing? in 1998 and 1999?s compilation album regular ?Need You (Right Now)?.
As a DJ, Gordon has regularly played around the world ? in Miami, New York, San Francisco, Ukraine, China, Japan, Canada, Australia, France, Sweden, Lithuania and many more. In 1998 he took his trumpet to Ibiza and after being seen playing in a bar, was soon invited to appear at many of the major clubs on the island.
A year later he went to Miami where he held a residency at BARROOM in South Beach for three years. And it was here that he developed what he is so well known for today ? combining his DJing with live trumpet sets.Further highlights in Gordons career have included being a part of Sade?s first world tour and playing at Madonna?s private parties in Miami and New York. This is a man who, using his truly unique mixture of skills, can work any crowd. Its no surprise he is in such high demand! Keep an ear out for this unique talent.

DECAFF & ROLAND CLARK ‘HELPLESS’ (MONTANA)
Denmark’s DJ Noir is Decaff, and this time round he’s drafted in house supremo Roland Clark, to deliver some of his distinctive vocals. ‘Helpless’ rides on driving percussive rhythms with D Train styled key stabs & spiralling effects, creating a new take on the old school, leading to Roland?s conscious lyrics, ‘And you say to yourself, life why have you forsaken me ‘And when you look out of your window all you see is Mr Jones, driving down that street again, while you’re living in your one room shack, contemplating fast forward, stop, rewind, everything you ever wanted right outside your door, but you don’t go outside no more’. ‘Helpless’ is a new take on the back in the day house sermon, & it wouldn’t surprise me if one of the big guns picks it up & repackages it with a bumper triple pack of mixes. This one could go all the way.

When the first Dance Valley was held back in 1995, no-one could have predicted that this newly planted seed would blossom into such a beautiful flower of dance with so many international admirers.
Over the past decade, connoisseurs from all continents and cultures have made the yearly pilgrimage to recreation area Spaarnwoude in Velsen to enjoy the unique atmosphere and the varied sounds again and again. In 2005 the Dance Valley stem sprouted a new bud as the festival grew over more than one day for the first time in its history. And the previously unheard-of combination of dance and camping really hit the mark. Following in the long tradition of rock and pop festivals, in Dance Valley the Netherlands at last has its own two-day dance event.
Dance Valley 2005 brought together a colourful and tightly-knit dance family from every corner of the world. From as far afield as Japan, Thailand, South Africa, Australia and Indonesia, not to mention Belgium, Spain and the UK, they merged to create an indescribable experience. For one weekend only, tough techno fans in combat gear and army boots shared the dancefloor and campsite with golden-haired beauties in their sexy dresses and stilettos. All were one over two memorable days. In this warm and easy-going atmosphere, everyone completely forgot the unexpected cool summer weather. Even when the live music ended at around midnight on Friday, only a very few could tear themselves away from the party to their sleeping bags, to charge their batteries for the next day.
This year’s line-up isn’t going to encourage much sleep either, with the fun going on right through the night. In the sizzling 24-hour area, the swinging silent disco and the hypermodern game area, you can party, dance, drink, laugh, talk, flirt, cuddle and kiss until the sun comes up. The nearby campsite features every imaginable convenience and luxury, and in the laid-back tent camp everybody’s going to be smiling from ear to ear all weekend. This is going to be another two whole days of intense and fraternal enjoyment of real music and dance at the only festival to have stayed true to its origins and not kowtow to the mainstream?
Once again, Spaarnwoude’s surrealistic hillscape is the backdrop to two days of love, peace and happiness ? plus a cast-iron line-up of live acts and a whole spectrum of music ? on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July, with the campsite staying open on Sunday 16th as well. Dance lovers from all over the world will be converging for this blistering weekender, to dance till they drop. Already UDC is being bombarded with ticket applications from abroad. After all, where else can you book a grooving underground dance weekend that puts every other event in the shade? So buy your tickets for the dance holiday of the year early and get ready to take the trip of a lifetime to danceland in July. Ticket sales begin on 23th March, with the first names in the 160-act line-up being announced on 20th March.

MTV Networks UK & Ireland and Galaxy Network today announced a partnership to launch a dance music chart show that will air on MTV Dance & across the Galaxy network. ?The Galaxy Chart on MTV Dance? will air weekly, with the chart determined by the viewers and listeners of MTV Dance and Galaxy radio. The first show will be broadcast on Galaxy on April 15th at 4pm and on MTV Dance on Easter Sunday at 9pm.
The chart will be created by music fans who vote, via the website, WAP or the interactive red button, for their favourite track from a playlist of 30 current tracks that are listed on www.mtv.co.uk/galaxychart. The playlist will be decided each week by MTV Dance in conjunction with Galaxy, and updated on a weekly basis. As well as the chart rundown the show will also feature a weekly dose of music news, exclusive videos and artist interviews, providing Sunday night TV relief for dance music enthusiasts.
Bringing together two leading music brands in the UK, The Galaxy Chart on MTV Dance aims to deliver the fastest reflection of what dance music fans in the UK want to hear. The show will be presented by Jo Good on MTV Dance, and by Dave Kelly on Galaxy. The first show will be filmed from the annual Winter Music Conference in Miami, with a number of special events confirmed for the year including Ibiza and music festivals. Confirmed guest interviews for the first two weeks include seminal dance music producers & DJ?s Armand Van Helden, Joey Negro, Deep Dish, DJ Sneak and Shapeshifters.
Jo Good?s astounding musical knowledge and her thirst for all things dance make her the natural choice to present The Galaxy Chart on MTV Dance. Her love of music and down-to-earth sense of humour led her instinctively to start her career in radio, where she presented her own morning show in Brighton. After seven years, she launched her TV career and co-hosted MTV?s TRL with Dave Berry & Alex Zane where she interviewed the likes of 50 Cent, Moby, Jude Law, Tom Cruise, Destiny?s Child and Kylie.
Presenter of ?Dance and R?n?B Extra? every Saturday and ?The Big Show? every weekday evening show across the Galaxy Network means Dave Kelly is more than qualified to present ?The Galaxy Chart?. Dave always wanted to be a TV cameraman, never a radio presenter, but once bitten by the bug there was no stopping him. After stints at other stations he joined Galaxy in 2001 and has since interviewed Sean Paul, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake and Jamie Foxx, amongst others.

Relishing in the abolition of musical boundaries, Rhythmcentric has been known to mix its trademark house with techno, breakbeat, funk, soul and disco; the new with the old in an extravagant display of sound inspired by dance floors across the world.
At just 16 years old, residents Thuz & Miss AJ harboured a shared passion for all things funk, boomp and bleep. They honed their skills at Liverpool?s legendary Masque venue first individually, and later in the slick back-2-back sets that became for many a school-night stress reliever of the highest order during 2004.
Mr McCarthy completed the residents? line-up, bringing to the (turn) table anything from heavy techno and nu-skool breaks, through to classic soul and hip-hop. Only one thing remained a constant; a healthy craving for funk, sweet rhythms and infectious bass-lines.
Collaborating with the likes of Bubblegum, Slut and Electrofunk ? Rhythmcentric specialised in week-night madness, causing mass Friday-morning-sickie-pulling across the North West.
DJ Alena, Yousef, Jane Fitz, Iain Taylor, Loz and the Homegrown DJs were amongst those who opted in for the Rhythmcentric treatment during round one? and after nearly 18 months away, we?re pleased to finally announce the RHYTHMCENTRIC RE-UNION ? and who?s in for round two?

The shockingly funny cult play that inspired the movie sensation returns to the stage 10 years after its premiere.
Friends Renton, Sick Boy and Begbie embark on a horrific journey to the heart of a hellhole world peopled by psychos, junkies, wide-boys and no-hopers. Hilarious but harrowing, it charts the disintegration of their friendship as they hurtle towards self-destruction.
Sordid, explicit, exuberant, devastating - Irvine Welsh?s infamous 1993 novel introduced the uninitiated to the dizzying heights and unbearable depths of life as a ?trainspotter?. Adapted by Harry Gibson into a play, that even more than the book and the film, is the most extreme.
